Being surrounded by music from the day I was born, I had a great love for all kinds of music. My mother would listen to everything from Motown, R&B, Rock, Top 40. My Grandfather, he was an incredible country music singer and guitar player. My grandmother always made sure I had musical instruments to play. I took up playing guitar as a young teen. My mom was dating this guy who had long hair and could play Motley Crue. I thought that was cool as could be. So I played as much as I could and my mother bought me my first “REAL” electric guitar when I was 13 years old. She promised me if I learned to play “Welcome to the Jungle”, she would buy me an electric guitar. So I learned the song, and she took me to Hot Licks Guitar shop. That place was the Greatest! A Toys R Us for musicians. Gene Quade sold me my first electric guitar. It was a candy apple red Gibson Stat style guitar. I practiced and practiced, and learned from some of the best. Mike Stacey, John Luskey, Jimmy Lockheart, to name a few. I went on to play in some really great local bands. Vertical Smile, The Craze, Just Push Play. I still play in a few of them. I decided to venture into the acoustic scene. I love strumming and singing, and twisting tunes with my friends. So why not go out and do it live! I hope to see and meet you all at a show real soon.
